Sarah Allen, MPAS, PA-C

Sarah Allen, MPAS, PA-C, serves as Clinical Assistant Professor for Baylor University's Physician Assistant Studies program in Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences.

She previously served as Clinical Instructor for LSU Health PA Program in Shreveport. She was involved in teaching a variety of topics with special focus on end-of-rotation exam assessment and endocrinology topics. She is currently licensed in Tennessee, Texas, and Louisiana.  

Allen is a certified Physician Assistant with 14 years of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, endocrinology, and acute care. She most recently practiced in Family Medicine for Vanderbilt Integrate Health and was awarded the Excellence of Patient Experience and Quality Performance Award for 3 consecutive years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Louisiana College and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from LSU Health Shreveport. She was also awarded the Joseph K. Valgora Compassionate Caregiver Award upon completion of her masters.  Her research interests include family medicine topics with a special focus on endocrine disorders and preventative health measures. She is also interested in the study of cognitive learning techniques incorporated into digital platforms.

Allen is an active member of her local church where her husband serves as Senior Pastor and is mother to three beautiful daughters. She teaches regularly in her children and ladies ministry and has a passion for international missions. Between gymnastics, basketball, softball, and soccer practices; she enjoys spending time in her flower garden and cooking for friends and family.
