The costs indicated below are only an estimate and may be different from the student's total expenditures. They do not include stipend, tuition remission, or any other funding the student may receive.

Travel and Housing Expenses 

Travel and housing expenses associated with the program can vary based on individual circumstances and are the responsibility of the student. The chart shown below is an example of potential travel and housing expenses. Please be aware this is just an example and actual costs will vary per student based on location, accommodations, travel preferences, and more. It is important to note that the program includes three on-site immersions in the first year of the program, two on-site immersions in the second year, and a 12-month clinical phase in which rotations may be anywhere within the United States. We encourage students to plan ahead and budget accordingly for these expenses.

NOTES:

  1. These are estimated costs for the entire program. Tuition, fees, and costs are subject to change. Tuition for in-state and out-of-state residents is the same.
  2. Tuition includes, but is not limited to, the following:
    • Remote library resources
    • Academic Live Care counseling services
    • Technology resources and support
    • Administrative support services
    • Student Life Center access
  3. The Off-campus administrative fee is a flat-rate fee that is charged to all students taking online courses.
  4. On-campus parking, and athletic events attendance require the payment of Optional Fees.
  5. Estimated costs for textbooks and medical equipment are based on current course requirements.
  6. Medical equipment costs include common clinical exam equipment and supplies [dual head stethoscope, sphygmomanometer with cuffs (all sizes-peds and adults), ophthalmoscope, otoscope, penlight, triangle reflex hammer, C-128 Tuning Fork, Rosenbaum visual acuity chart, measuring tape, eye protection, dissection kit, disposable ear specula (peds and adults), gloves].
  7. Students are required to have a laptop computer and mobile device in their possession at the time of the Physician Assistant Studies program Orientation. Mobile broadband capability for the mobile device is suggested to provide an internet connection when a local wireless network is not available.

Financial Aid

To be considered for federal, state, and Baylor need-based financial aid including loans, grants, and need-based Baylor scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There is no fee to complete the FAFSA. If at all possible, use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to access your most recent income tax return(s).

Baylor's school code is 003545. Baylor normally receives results of the FAFSA within two to three business days.
