Program Director
Meredith Quinene, DHSc, MPAS, PA-C, DFAAPA, serves as Program Director for Baylor University's Physician Assistant Studies program in Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. Quinene joined the Baylor faculty in Fall 2023 from UT Health San Antonio’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, where she had served since 2015—most recently as Associate Professor and Academic Coordinator. Quinene is a licensed Physician Assistant with experience in a range of medical specialties, including traumatic brain injury and otolaryngology. She serves as Chair of the Physician Assistant Education Association Exam Development Board, as a Board Member for the Physician Assistant Education Association Assessment Advisory Board, and is an elected Texas delegate for the American Academy of Physician Assistants House of Delegates.
A proud Baylor Bear, Quinene earned her Bachelor of Science in Education (cum laude) from Baylor University, Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (summa cum laude) from UT Health San Antonio, Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Doctor of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale. A soccer, football, and track mom, Quinene enjoys being with her family, cooking, and reading in her spare time—along with cheering on the Bears, of course.
