Emily Weidman-Evans, PharmD, BC-ADM

Emily Weidman-Evans, PharmD, BC-ADM serves as a Clinical Associate Professor and Chair of the Student Success and Progressions Committee. She previously served as a Professor and Director of Assessment at the LSUHS Shreveport Physician Assistant Program and, before that, was an Associate Professor at the University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy. She has a wide range of teaching and research interests including diabetes, metabolic syndrome, interprofessional education, effective remediation, and student wellness.

Weidman-Evans is a clinical pharmacist and board-certified advanced diabetes manager (BC-ADM). She received her Pharm.D. from the University of Florida and completed a pharmacy practice residency with an emphasis in community care at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.  In her free time, Weidman-Evans enjoys doing just about anything outside with her husband and watching her elder kiddo perform on the stage and her younger on the soccer field.
